Rota School Supply Drive: THANK YOU!
The Mount Carmel School Juniors would like to thank all the classes, grades 1-12, for contributing to the school supply drive for Rota students. The Empty Vessel Charity expresses their gratitude as well and will be flying the supplies to Rota very soon. Below is the breakdown of the amount of materials that were collected:
Composition notebooks: 50
Filler-paper: 2,400 pages
2015 Congressional Art Competition
The Office of Congressman Gregorio Kilili Camacho Sablan invites all high school students to compete in this year’s Congressional Art Competition. The winning entry will be exhibited for a year in the U. S. Capital. The deadline for submissions is Friday, April 10. For more information, ask one of your teachers for a copy of the competition guidelines, which were emailed to everyone on the Knight’s Herald email distribution list.
Coral Reef Summer Internship Opportunity
The CNMI Division of Coastal Resources Management is looking for 10-12 CNMI-based college students or college-bound high school graduates with an interest in learning more about coral reef resource management. Summer interns will work 20 hours per week from June through August and will be paid $8.00/hour. Deadline for applications is April 4th. For more information, email Avra Heller at email@example.com.
For those who desire to be baptized as Catholics, please inform your homeroom teacher. Our campus ministry coordinator is working Fr. James to make this possible before May 3, so that those who also want to receive the Sacrament of Communion or Sacrament of Confirmation will be able to do so on the scheduled date of Sunday, May. 3.
