MCS Faculty/Staff Christmas Party
Please sign up for this year’s Faculty/Staff Christmas Party, which will take place at Kanoa Resort on Saturday, December 6, from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. It is free for MCS employees, but guests will be assessed a $24.00 fee per guest.
As we have done every year, Mount Carmel School students in grades 2 through 12 will participate in the Diocese of Chalan Kanoa’s Feast of the Immaculate Conception on Monday, December 8. Students will report to their homeroom classes at 2:00 p. m. before proceeding over to the Cathedral for the 3:00 p. m. rosary and 4:00 p. m. Eucharistic Celebration. We anticipate the celebration to end by 7:00 p. m. If all students in those grades participate, all students will be granted both a dress-down day and a Movie Day.
December 19: Christmas Program
As we did for last year, for this year’s December 19th Christmas Program, each grade level must sing at least one song without a CD or tape background. Supporting instruments (such as guitar, piano, percussion, etc.) are permitted. Each grade level may also prepare a dance with a CD or tape background, so long as that grade level still sings one song. Also, grade levels will NOT be allowed to sing the same songs as other grade levels, so please submit your grade level’s song to the main office as soon as possible. Song selections will be given on a first come, first served basis.
