According to the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center, as of 0034z April 2, 2014, due to an 8.2 magnitude earthquake that struck off Chile?s coast, a tsunami warning is in effect for Chile, Peru, and Ecuador, while a tsunami watch is in effect for Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica Nicaragua, and El Salvador.
