Financial Assistance

Depending on funds availability, the Board of Directors may approve some financial assistance: Academic Scholarship, Extra-Curricular Scholarship, and Financial Aid.  Due to limited resources, however, not all applicants can be assured of having their financial needs met. The school administration will review all applications for financial assistance and, based on resources available, the financial aid will be awarded to applicants with the most need according to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) School Breakfast and Lunch Income Eligibility Guidelines.

Important Notice: Your student must be successfully enrolled for the 2023-2024 school year in order to apply for any of the financial aid opportunities detailed below.

Recipients of Mount Carmel School's Financial Aid program can receive up to $750.00 in tuition assistance for one student per family. To qualify for Mount Carmel School's Financial Aid program, families must submit and complete the following: 

• Completed online application (Download email confirmation upon application submission)
• Completed registration payment (Copy of receipt is sufficient)
• Copies of current tax filing from person(s) to be financially responsible for tuition and fees
• Last Two (2) Pay Stubs (if working)

Scholarship Opportunities

Mount Carmel School's Academic Scholarships are awarded to deserving MCS students who demonstrate academic excellence both in and out of the classroom. The Application portal will open on May 01, 2023. 

Applications must include: 

• Completed online application (Download email confirmation upon application submission)
• Completed registration payment (Copy of receipt is sufficient)
• Official transcript for new students
• Unofficial Academic Transcripts or Reports Cards for returning students.
• One letter of recommendation
• Resume (Optional)

Extracurricular Scholarship
Award Amount: $750.00
Deadline: June 14, 2024

Mount Carmel School's Extracurricular Scholarships are awarded to deserving MCS students who actively engage, participate, and volunteer in extracurriculars or service opportunities in school or in the community. The Application portal will open on May 01, 2023. 

Applications must include: 

• Completed online application (Download email confirmation upon application submission)
• Completed registration payment (Copy of receipt is sufficient)
• Official transcript for new students(Minimum GPA of 2.33 to qualify)
• Unofficial Academic Transcripts or Reports Cards for returning students.
• One letter of recommendation from coach/advisor of club/activity
• Resume or evidence (certificates/photos) of student activities within the last two years.

Financial Assistance

The academic scholarship is based from academic transcripts or report cards and a recommendation letter from current and/or previous teacher(s).

The extra-curricular scholarship is based from the certification and recommendation letter from a coach and/or adviser.  Parents can check with the Business Office for application forms or for more information.
 

Employee Sponsorship Program

Depending on the school’s financial status, the Board of Directors may approve the employee’s sponsorship program for the school year. Each employee can sponsor one (1) student for a 50% discount on tuition. The employee can select one registered student at the beginning of the school year from K4 to 12th grade based on his or her preference. The employee must prepare and submit to the school president a letter affirming his or her intention to sponsor the student. Parents can check with the Business Office for more information.
