The institution’s affordable tuition, emphasis on academic excellence, and vibrant student life are what drew MCS senior Hannah D. Lacap to commit to Boise State University.
“Boise State University immediately stood out to me during my college search process. Or should I say, the $15,000 WUE scholarship that they offered immediately stood out to me. In all seriousness, I chose BSU because not only are they located in the heart of Boise, one of America’s safest cities, but their commitment to academic excellence is accompanied by an active and vibrant student life that challenges each student to reach their potential, compelled me to not only apply but accept their enrollment offer once I got accepted. Combined with a strong emphasis on creative thinking and an inclusive community for its diverse students, it was easy to picture me at Boise State University,” Hannah Lacap shared.
Proudly joining his family’s legacy, MCS senior Vincent O. Torres, III shared that attending Boise State was inevitable for him because of his familiarity with the institution, location, and programs. “I chose this school because of the environment it presents to the students. I also chose this school because many of my family members attended Boise State University and I would like to be part of that legacy as well. Lastly, I’m familiar with the city and state area which brings me more ease as I prepare for this transition to college.”
